Mark McArdle

Mark brings an illustrious career in politics, marked by significant contributions and reforms. Elected to the Queensland Parliament in 2004, he has served as the Leader of the Queensland Liberal Party, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, and Minister of Energy and Water Supply. In the latter role, he was instrumental in implementing pivotal reforms to the electricity system. A life member of the Liberal National Party in Queensland, Mark has continued to influence the political landscape even after his retirement in 2020. His extensive networks and deep understanding of the government-business relationship make him a valuable addition to our team. As a founding member of the LNP in Queensland, his presence further strengthens Cornerstone’s bipartisan approach to advocacy and representation.
