Mitch Tanner

Understanding the processes and knowing the key decision makers augment Mitch's achievements, shaping strategic frameworks engaging the private and public sectors.

With a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Arts (International Relations) from the Australian National University and currently studying law at the University of Sydney, Mitch's academic acumen underscores the practical reasoning and analytical strengths he brings to Cornerstone.

A decade highlighted by delivering successes in marginal seat campaigns at state and federal levels can be attributed to Mitch's passion for the political arena.  His legislative experience was honed working for a senior Cabinet Minster across the portfolios of Treasury, Finance, Foreign Affairs and Trade, Industry, Innovation and Science, Infrastructure and Transport, Agriculture and Water Resources, Social Services, Resources and Energy and Environment.

His highly developed understanding for parliamentary procedure was furthered by his tenure with two House Speakers. Prior to that, his time working for a leading ASX200 company developed the basis for understanding how the private and public sectors could align common goals over competing interests.
